Thanks for participating in 2025 Global Book Crawl; 20 Countries & 450 Independent Bookshops Worldwide. We aim to showcase "Indies" as cultural anchors; reading as community and encounter. By collaborating world wide we are a growing force. IRELAND

This year crawls will be organised geographically so participants can complete them within the week: Mayo, Sligo, Dublin, Wicklow, Cork, Clare, Galway, Kildare, Donegal, Derry… and more. Participants receive a map from the bookshop. Each visit gives a stamp. Five visits enter a draw for €100 worth of vouchers from five different shops.

IT STARTS WITH A VISIT. IT BECOMES A STORY.

5 Irish children's authors will be promoted. Children must find one of the five books in each shop and get a stamp. Collect five stamps to get a ticket for a draw and go in for €100 worth of vouchers from five different shops.

THE ASK

• Distribute from 6th April (mailing list, instagram , website, contacts schools)
• Publicity (join #globalbookcrawl, local media, national media)
• Open 20th April
• Post throughout week
• Photos of children finding books (consent forms for each shop)
• Provide vouchers and give raffle ticket for completers of the Crawl
